Welcome to Canadian Weigh. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms and conditions below. For our returns, shipping, and exchange policies, please see our Policies page.
- Shipment Shortages & Overcharges. You agree to notify Canadian Weigh verbally or in writing about any shipment shortages or invoice overcharges (incorrect prices, incorrect items, etc.) within 2 business days of receipt of the merchandise. After this time, it is at the sole discretion of Canadian Weigh to accept or deny any claim. We use a triple-check shipping system by which all goods are independently verified three times to ensure every order is as accurate as possible.
- Returns of Used or Partial Merchandise. We cannot accept returns of used merchandise or partial boxes of merchandise. All returns must include the complete original packaging and materials; partial returns cannot be credited.
- Return Window. All products must be returned within 3 months of the date of invoice, per manufacturer requirements.
- Credits. Credits will be issued at the price paid for the item or the current selling price, whichever is lower.
- Quantity Discounts. To prevent quantity discounts being claimed and then partially returned, we reserve the right to cancel quantity discounts and re-bill based on the actual volume kept.
- Closeout Items. All closeout items are sold as final sale and cannot be returned.
- Return Authorization. All returns must be pre-authorized. Please contact us to obtain a return authorization before sending back any goods. Non-authorized returns may be rejected at our discretion.
- Acceptance of Terms. By placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions regardless of any other documents or communications. Only an authorized representative of Canadian Weigh may change these terms. Failure to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver.
- Payment Terms. Unless otherwise arranged, payment is due at time of order. Where net terms apply, payment is due within thirty (30) days of the invoice date; unpaid balances are subject to a late payment charge of 1.5% per month.
- Taxes. Prices quoted are subject to change based on applicable laws, taxes, or cost changes. You are solely responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies required by law.
- Warranty. Canadian Weigh warrants that goods conform to their stated description. This is our sole warranty; all other warranties, express or implied — including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose — are disclaimed unless an express warranty accompanies the item. Our liability for a breach of warranty is limited to replacement of the goods. Warranty claims must be made within thirty (30) days of delivery.
- Limitation of Liability. Canadian Weigh's liability to you, in contract, tort, warranty, or otherwise, will not exceed the purchase price paid. We are not liable for special, indirect, or consequential damages. Any claim arising from a transaction must be brought within one (1) year of the invoice date.
- Claims. Claims for shortages or delivery errors must be made within five (5) days of delivery. Goods are sold subject to standard manufacturing and industry practices, including customary quantity variations for goods sold by weight.
- Shipment. Delivery is F.O.B. Canadian Weigh's distribution center in Vancouver, Canada. Risk of loss or damage transfers to you upon delivery to the carrier. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees, and Canadian Weigh is not liable for delays due to causes beyond our reasonable control (e.g., weather, carrier disruption, labor shortages, acts of God).
